Rockstar heeft laten weten dat Grand Theft Auto V 240 liedjes en 15 radiostations zal bevatten. De ontwikkelaar van GTA heeft alvast wat tracks online gezet, zodat je die kunt checken, zo meldt Destructiod.  Ivan Pavlovich, de soundtrack supervisor van Rockstar, heeft in een interview met het muziektijdschrift Rolling Stone gezegd dat GTA V's soundtrack de grootste soundtrack voor een GTA-game ooit is. Hij voegt eraan toe dat het belangrijk was om 'that feeling' van L.A. en Californië goed over te brengen.  Quote: "It’s the largest soundtrack that we’ve done, and the largest score that we’ve done. For this game, which is set in our version of modern day Los Angeles, what was important for us was to capture that feeling of L.A. and California." Pavlovich gaat door met te zeggen dat in GTA V voor het eerst ook een radiostation zit die popmuziek draait. Quote: "One of the things we’ve never done in a GTA game before is a pop station; exploring that made so much sense in the context of L.A.” Naast het popradiostation kun je ook weer Mexicaanse muziek, 80's funk en classic rock verwachten. Er zijn dus in totaal 15 radiostations, waarvan 2 'praatstations'.  GTA V verschijnt 17 september op de PlayStation 3 en Xbox 360.  Tweeten
